The Schools Administration Services at Birmingham Newman University provide a critical service in enabling the Schools to deliver an excellent student experience and a high-level support to academic staff and managers. This new, senior role is essential to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, compliance with institutional policies and regulations, oversight of financial and resource planning, delivery of high-quality administrative services, employee relations and internal and external communications.
This is a new leadership role where you will work in partnership with the Executive Dean and the University Secretary and Chief Strategy Officer, to develop an effective administrative structure and work with teams to deliver positive change, to meet the current and future needs of the academic Schools within the University.
As the Head of Schools Administration Services you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the administrative services, serving the four schools that include professional programmes regulated by a number of Professional Statutory Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs) including (but not limited to) the BPS, HCPC, NMC and OFSTED.
The postholder will play a key role to ensuring collaboration across Schools and professional service directorates and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
