Job Summary
As a Client Analytics and Reporting Analyst, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather investment data and commentary, produce client reports, enhance reporting processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality reporting to clients, consultants, executives, and board members.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc client and consultant investment reports
- Gather and synthesize data and commentary from internal stakeholders
- Provide reporting support to executives and board members
- Respond to client and consultant inquiries in a timely and consultative manner
- Improve reporting accuracy by enhancing validation checks and reducing manual processes through automation
- Participate in reporting enhancements and operational improvement initiatives
- Assist in developing client-focused contribution and attribution commentary
- Support new initiatives within Investment Performance, Analytics & Reporting (including Btx-related projects)
- Develop strong understanding of investment pools, client mandates, performance methodologies, and reporting systems
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science with a finance component preferred)
- Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and clearly articulate financial data
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure and deadlines
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Commitment to core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity, and collaboration
Nice-to-Have Experience
- 2 years of experience in pension, investment management, or investment reporting
- Knowledge of institutional investments, portfolio management, pensions, or endowment financing
- Pursuing or holding investment-related designations (CFA, FRM, CIPM, CAIA, etc.)
