About The Community

Peonan Point School is located in the community of Peonan Point, approximately three and a half hours northwest of Winnipeg. The school is a modern facility with one (1) Grade 10 student, the Teaching Principal and an Educational Assistant.

What You Bring

• Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
• Master’s degree in education/administration and/or Certificate in School Leadership would be an asset
• At least five years of teaching experience and five years of administrative experience
• Previous success with development and implementation of short and long-term school-based plans
• A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology
• Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset)
• Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
