As a Security Officer – Overnight Shift in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this driving post, you will support daily operations through clear communication, teamwork, and a people-first approach rooted in integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe site activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized entry attempts according to post instructions.
• Support daily building operations by assisting with directions, visitor interactions, and incident reporting while helping to deter unwanted activity through a visible presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
