As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Winter Haven, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work with integrity, and contribute to a team focused on people-first service and innovative support.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, offering directions and support to visitors and staff as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel during medical-related incidents, alarms, evacuations, and/or other emergency situations by following post orders and established response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
