Apartment Maintenance Technician

$23-$30/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance technician to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment for an apartment property. The role involves working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with rotating on-call duties. You will be required to have your own hand tools, while larger tools will be supplied by the property.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Manage property grounds, ensuring cleanliness and order by handling tasks such as dog waste and trash removal.
• Respond to work orders promptly, respecting residents’ spaces and announcing yourself appropriately.
• Execute unit turns efficiently when tenants move out, preparing the units for new occupants.
• Collaborate with a team consisting of leasing agents, maintenance personnel, and a porter to onboard tenants quickly in a newly opened facility.
• Lead by example and support intense training programs for team members.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in apartment maintenance and property management.
• Strong leadership and technology management skills.
• Proficiency in unit turns, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Experience with property management systems (PMS) and work orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Skilled in facilities and property maintenance.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Valid Drivers License

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $35.00/hr.
