Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (appropriate for high school level)
• Experience as a Special Education and/or Resource Teacher in a school setting

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and resource support to high school students with varying disabilities
• Participate in the development and review of IEPs, ensuring compliance and measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and support personnel to meet student needs
• Adapt curriculum and modify instruction to ensure access to learning for all assigned students
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide updates to stakeholders
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes student growth and self-advocacy
