About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and student-centered English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to support an Illinois school district. This opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about helping multilingual learners build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and succeed academically. Requirements
- Passion for inclusive education and student success.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with ESL Endorsement.

- Experience working with multilingual learners or in a school setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide targeted ESL instruction tailored to students’ individual language proficiency levels.
- Support development across listening, speaking, reading, and writing while helping students access grade-level content.
- Work closely with teachers and school staff to ensure students receive consistent, high-quality support throughout the school day.
- Monitor student progress.
- Maintain documentation.
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming learning environment where all students feel supported.
