Job Summary

We are seeking an Account Executive for a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeping Accountant to manage daily accounting and bookkeeping operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial record maintenance, reconciliations, invoicing, and statutory compliance support. The role involves working closely with the Finance Manager and Chartered Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting records
• Record and manage sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Generate invoices and maintain billing and payment records
• Track company expenses and ensure proper supporting documentation is maintained
• Assist the Finance Manager in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules
• Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for GST, TDS, and other statutory filings
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities
• Maintain organized accounting files, records, and documentation for audits and compliance
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial data entry and reporting

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial data responsibly
• Good communication and coordination skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with auditors or Chartered Accountants is an added advantage 
• Experience in Food/hotel/restaurant/cloud kitchen industry will be an added advantage.
