In this role, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will contribute with integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 PM – 06:00 AMSun07:30 AM – 03:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying access permissions and directing visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with location procedures.
• Support daily operations at an industrial and/or government location by maintaining a visible presence, preparing clear reports, and assisting with routine security-related checks and site instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
