As a Security Officer Alarm Response Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support access awareness, respond to site needs, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and support visitor and vendor processing in accordance with property policies and post instructions.
• Assist with alarms, emergencies, and/or after-hours situations by communicating clearly with occupants, first responders, and/or supervisors while following established site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
