About The Position
Dioji K-9 Resort & Athletic Club is a refreshing approach to full-service canine care, offering Dog Daycare, Cage-Free Boarding and Bathing services as well as a full retail store front. Member dogs get to romp and play in our 10,000 sq ft indoor/outdoor facility (complete with a pool!) and those spending the night enjoy snuggling up with buddies in our cage-free evening suites, all while being cared for 24-hours a day, 7 days a week by our loving team members. As a Level 1 Associate, you will be a part of every aspect of our business from day 1. It is the people of Dioji that make the difference. Our team members provide excellent customer service and attentive, loving care to each and every canine guest. They also take pride in our facility and work diligently as a team to maintain our high standard of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
- Share our love of dogs and are comfortable interacting with dogs of all sizes
- Enjoy physical activity and are able to work on your feet for 4-8 hrs
- Are physically able to frequently bend and lift up to 25 lbs
- Enjoy working as part of an awesome team and learning new skills
- Are at least 16 years of age
Responsibilities
- Play Yard Supervision – constantly on your feet to actively manage all dogs in a play yard
- Safe Practices – handling dogs while safely moving throughout the facility
- Customer Relations – client greetings, check-in/out, photos, emails, phone calls, assistance
- Canine Care – feeding, bathing and other Dioji grooming services
- Facility Maintenance – cleaning and other janitorial duties to maintain a sanitary facility
- Retail Store – inventory stocking, product knowledge, sales
