Job DescriptionHiring Licensed Journeyman Electricians – Data Center Project (Cedar Rapids, Iowa)

*Position Overview: Hiring multiple licensed Journeyman Electricians for a long‑term new data center construction project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role offers high earning potential, steady overtime, and daily per diem.

*Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay: $50.00/hour
• Hours: 5 days/week, 12‑hour shifts (minimum 60 hours/week)
• Overtime: Built‑in weekly OT
• Estimated Weekly Take‑Home: ~$4,000+
• Per Diem: $178/day (approx. $62,000+ annually)

*Responsibilities:

• Install, bend, and run EMT and rigid conduit
• Pull wire and perform terminations
• Install lighting systems, switchgear, panels, and cable
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Work with low‑ and medium‑voltage systems
• Support large‑scale commercial and industrial electrical construction

*Required Experience:

• Journeyman‑level experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction
• Skilled in:
  • Conduit bending (EMT & rigid)
  • Terminations and panel work
  • Lighting and electrical systems
  • Blueprint and schematic reading
  • Electrical troubleshooting
• Experience on large projects (data centers preferred)

A valid Journeyman Electrician License is required. Eligible licenses must be from a state with Iowa reciprocity, including: AK, AR, CO, MN, MT, NE, NH, ND, OK, SD, TX, WI, WY

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 – $50.00/hr.
