Role

WOLF is seeking a motivated and curious Junior Software Engineer to join our special projects team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a strong foundation in software development and a focus on artificial intelligence. You will contribute to end-to-end design and development of innovative solutions, working across front-end, back-end, and system-level programming in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. in this exciting role you will:

• Contribute to the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of software applications as part of a special project team
• Write, test, and maintain code across front-end web/app interfaces and back-end services
• Develop back-end services and APIs using .NET 8 and C#
• Design and implement Linux and Windows drivers and applications using C and C++
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs; deploy enhancements and updates
• Support AI-related development, including inference and agent-based systems
• Write and maintain scripts to improve automation and operational efficiency
• Participate in version control and code management using GitHub
• Perform administrative and coordination tasks related to software project management
• Collaborate effectively with peers, colleagues, and leadership while maintaining strong working relationships
• Take ownership of assigned projects with minimal oversight
• Contribute to additional tasks and projects as required

You are a recent graduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on AI, bringing a solid foundation in programming languages such as C, C++, and C#, along with experience in .NET development and familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments. You have exposure to AI concepts such as inference or agent development, and ideally some background in electronics. You pride yourself in being detail-oriented, highly organized, and an effective communicator who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You demonstrate strong initiative, take ownership of their work with minimal oversight, and are eager to learn and adapt, especially when working with new or proprietary systems. A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and sense of humour, you are comfortable contributing to shared codebases using tools like GitHub, proficient in common business and design software, and flexible to meet project demands, including occasional overtime.
