Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Junior Data Analyst – Excel, Power BI & MIS Reporting (Banking). This position involves supporting business management teams in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement within a collaborative environment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $32.61/hr – $39.13/hr

Responsibilities

• Support B2B portfolio by delivering accurate data analysis and reporting solutions.
• Validate and analyze large datasets to ensure data integrity and support business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain reports using Excel, Power BI, and other MS Office tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and document findings.
• Assist in process improvements and automation of MIS reports.
• Document processes and ensure consistent reporting standards.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide insights and support ongoing business needs.

Desired Skill-Set

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar data analysis or reporting role.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven expertise in data validation and analysis for reporting purposes.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel; Power BI experience is essential.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to work with large datasets and focus on data accuracy.
• Eagerness to learn new systems, tools, and business processes.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
• Business acumen with the ability to connect technical insights to business context.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MIS reporting and automation.
• Prior experience in the banking or financial industry.
