Job Title: Java Developer (AWS + Databricks) Onsite | Plano, TX

Job Overview:

We are hiring experienced Java Developers to support a high-impact Communications Surveillance platform. This role focuses on building scalable systems for capturing, processing, and managing enterprise communication data (email, Outlook, Teams) at massive scale.

You will work on systems handling 20+ million messages per day, ensuring reliability, compliance, and performance in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data ingestion and processing systems using Java
• Build streaming and batch data pipelines using modern data frameworks
• Integrate communication platforms (Outlook, Teams) for data extraction
• Work with AWS services for large-scale data processing and storage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on high-performance systems
• Ensure data compliance, security, and observability

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Java (Backend / Full Stack)
• Hands-on experience with AWS (SQS, storage, processing, security)
• Experience with Databricks / Data Engineering pipelines
• Experience with email or communication data processing (Outlook/Teams)
• Familiarity with parsing libraries (JavaMail, Mime4j, Apache James, etc.)
• Strong experience in streaming & batch processing (Kafka, Spark, etc.)
• Solid understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of OAuth, OIDC, TLS, KMS
• Experience in compliance or regulated environments
• Exposure to observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
