As an Electrical Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include:
– **Installation of Electrical Systems:** You will set up electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, and other essential equipment according to technical plans and safety standards.
– **Maintenance and Repairs:** Conduct routine inspections and perform repairs on electrical systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
– **Troubleshooting Issues:** Identify and resolve electrical problems, using diagnostic tools and techniques to find the root cause of faults.
– **Collaboration with Team Members:** Work closely with engineers and other technicians to execute projects and improve system performance while following safety protocols.
– **Documentation:** Keep clear records of maintenance work, repairs, and installations to track system performance and comply with regulations.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
– A diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating foundational knowledge in electrical systems.
– Strong problem-solving skills, allowing you to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
– Basic understanding of electrical safety practices to ensure a safe working environment.
– Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
– A willingness to learn and grow, especially if you have little to no experience in the field (0 – 2 years preferred).
