The First Class Boiler Operator will be responsible for managing and maintaining boiler operations to ensure efficient and safe functioning. The role demands a focus on safety and adherence to operational procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Operate Boilers**
Responsible for operating and monitoring boilers, ensuring they function effectively and meet safety standards. This includes adjusting controls and managing readings.
– **Routine Maintenance**
Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on boiler systems to prevent malfunctions. This helps maintain efficiency and prolong the life of the equipment.
– **Safety Monitoring**
Monitor safety devices and perform safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations. This is critical for preventing accidents and ensuring a safe work environment.
– **Report Writing**
Maintain accurate reports on boiler operations, maintenance activities, and any safety incidents. This documentation is vital for compliance and operational analysis.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**
Candidates must have 3 to 9 years of experience as a boiler operator and possess an . certification. Strong technical skills in boiler operations are essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, allowing them to spot potential problems before they escalate. Good communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with the team. A commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations is expected, as is the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Male candidates are preferred for this role.
