Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.
The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set the bar high in their highly complex market!
Vacancy Details
In the Design Engineer role, you will be responsible for delivering structural engineering solutions from tender appraisal through to construction. This includes evaluating site conditions, interpreting architectural requirements, and developing robust designs. You’ll also investigate technical challenges and provide practical, cost-effective solutions that support project success.
Key Responsibilities:
To be successful in this position a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering would be expected and a Minimum of 4 years’ post-graduation experience working on the detailed design of structural steelwork projects. Relevant experience in any of the following: detailed connection design, temporary works design or main frame design would be essential.
