Homerton College are seeking motivated and customer focused Casual Bar Assistants to join our busy team in our purpose-built Griffin Bar, preparing drinks and providing excellent customer service to our students, staff, Fellows and visitors to the College.
You will place a key role in ensuring bar products are attractively displayed and replenished as needed, share your product knowledge to assist customers, and maintain clear, engaging point-of-sale and merchandising displays.
The Casual Bar Assistant will ensure compliance with licensing conditions, maintain cleanliness and order in all areas, and diligently complete daily cleaning tasks while following established opening and closing procedures.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced professional hospitality environment. Experience of working within a bar or similar College environment would be highly advantageous.
The Casual Bar Assistant is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great service, and contributes positively to a team environment.
Flexibility is required to working hours, as evening and weekend shifts are available.
