This role supports researchers across Imperial College London by reviewing, drafting and negotiating research agreements arising from European Commission funding. Based in the Research Support and Compliance Division, the role will be part of a small team focused on Horizon Europe contracts, managing a portfolio of agreements to ensuring they align with the needs of the principal investigator and the institution, as well as aligning requirements of the funding programme. Utilising DESCA and other resources the role will engage with a range of stakeholders across the UK and Europe, as well as working closely with internal colleagues across Funding Strategy and Research Services.

What we are looking for
Candidates should demonstrate experience in contract negotiation, agreement review, or similar administrative roles, ideally obtained in the higher education sector, coupled with a good understanding of intellectual property, confidentiality, publications, liabilities and related areas. Candidates should demonstrate a working knowledge of the EU funding environment and should have an ability to influence and negotiate with various stakeholders effectively, alongside being proactive with a service-focused attitude. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently within a supportive team.
