Role Description

The Building Manager is a full-time, on-site position located in Calgary, AB. The role entails overseeing daily operations focused on effective building management and tenant satisfaction. Primary responsibilities include managing facility operations, coordinating building maintenance, supervising contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Building Manager will also handle tenant communications, address concerns, and support budgeting efforts, including expense tracking and cost management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Management and Facility Management (FM) to oversee daily operational functions and ensure optimal performance of the property.
• Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with tenants, contractors, and team members.
• Proficiency in Building Maintenance practices, with knowledge of property repairs and adherence to safety protocols.
• Familiarity with Budgeting, including expense tracking, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in property management and safety.
• Previous experience in property or facility management is an asset.
• Availability to handle on-call responsibilities and emergencies as required.
