About Us:
Blackmont Consulting is a student-run advisory organization that provides free strategic consulting to NGOs, NPOs, and startups worldwide.
We’re expanding our UK branch and looking for Business Consultant Interns who are passionate about consulting, and solving meaningful strategic challenges.
What You’ll Do
As a Business Consultant Intern, you will collaborate in teams of 6-8 on consulting projects that strengthen Blackmont’s impact. Your key responsibilities include:
Conduct structured market and competitor research to help clients understand their landscape and make informed decisions.
Analyze financial, operational, or strategic performance using simple modelling, benchmarking, or structured frameworks.
Identify risks (market, political, regulatory, operational) and incorporate them into strategic decision-making.
Develop clear, actionable insights by turning raw data (research, interviews, surveys) into findings the client can use immediately.
Build slides and deliverables that summarize analysis and tell a clear story for internal teams or client stakeholders.
Present your work to project leads and, when appropriate, directly to the client.
What We’re Looking For
A current bachelor’s or master’s student in the UK (any major welcome) or a recent graduate.
Strong analytical and research skills demonstrated through coursework, case competitions, projects, or relevant experience.
Genuine interest in pursuing a career in consulting.
Membership Contribution
To sustain the non-profit nature of our operations and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality consulting resources, newly selected Business Consultant Interns contribute a membership fee of £25 per month for 2 months (£50 total). (https://www.blackmontconsulting.com/memberships)

A flexible, remote-friendly schedule that accommodates your studies.
Receive structured consulting training to support your development.
Career Growth: Opportunity to grow internally within the branch or transition to the global team.
