This is a newly created role offering an exciting opportunity to help shape and influence how space management operates across the organisation. The Space Coordinator will play a central role in supporting day‑to‑day activity while contributing ideas, innovation, and practical improvements to both new and existing processes.
Working closely with colleagues across Estates and the wider University, the role combines coordination, problem‑solving and data awareness, and is ideal for someone who enjoys making things work better, spotting opportunities for improvement, and helping to build clear, effective ways of working from the ground up.
About You
The ideal candidate is an organised, confident and service focused professional who enjoys working in a busy service environment. They will be proactive and adaptable, with strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation. Comfortable managing competing priorities, they take a methodical and accurate approach to their work, remain calm under pressure, and are motivated by solving problems and improving processes. Highly digitally capable, with strong Excel and data handling skills, they are equally effective working independently or as part of a collaborative team and be committed to continuous learning and improvement.
