Printing Specialist Full Time

The Printing Executive (Incharge) – Offset Printing will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end offset printing operations in a packaging environment. The role involves managing production, ensuring quality output, handling manpower, and maintaining machinery efficiency while meeting production targets in a shift-based working system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise offset printing operations (sheetfed/packaging boards) to ensure smooth production flow and adherence to daily production plans.
• Ensure high-quality printing output with strict control on color consistency, registration, dot gain, ink density, and overall print standards as per customer specifications.
• Operate and manage advanced offset printing machines (e.g., Heidelberg, Komori, KBA, etc.) and ensure optimal machine utilization and efficiency.
• Possess strong machinery knowledge including troubleshooting, breakdown handling, and coordination with maintenance for preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Monitor and control wastage of paperboard, inks, and consumables to improve cost efficiency and reduce rejections.
• Plan and allocate manpower across shifts, ensuring proper skill utilization and maintaining discipline on the shop floor.
• Train and guide machine operators and helpers on best printing practices, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of jobs as per production schedules while maintaining quality and minimizing downtime.
• Coordinate with Pre-Press, Quality, and Finishing departments to ensure seamless execution of jobs and adherence to customer specifications.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, machine logs, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental norms, and company policies related to printing operations.
