Accountant

Key Responsibilities

General Accounting & Reconciliations

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Reconcile credit card accounts (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX) and ensure proper expense classification.
• Prepare and record depreciation and amortization entries for fixed assets and prepaid expenses.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.

Tax & Statutory Filings

• Calculate, prepare, and file HST returns in compliance with CRA requirements.
• Prepare and submit WSIB premium calculations and reports in accordance with Ontario regulations.

Intercompany & Multi-Entity Accounting

• Record and reconcile intercompany and related-party transactions across multiple legal entities.
• Ensure proper allocation of shared costs and accurate elimination entries where required.
• Assist in maintaining transfer documentation and internal transaction support.

Financial Review & Audit Support

• Support the Controller during external audits, including CRA, Accounting Firm, and Financial Institutions requests.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting roles.
• Strong working knowledge of HST calculation and filing and WSIB reporting.
• Solid understanding of Canadian accounting principles and statutory compliance.
• Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations, depreciation, and amortization.
• Exposure to multi-entity or intercompany accounting is required.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
• Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage 300, NetSuite or other ERP is an asset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Marketing and Design Specialist

Job description:

Responsible for managing and executing all marketing and communication initiatives of the company.

• Plan schedules such as posts, stories and other branded content with the marketing team.
• Design and work on end-to-end social media campaigns.
• Create content for our social media platforms, mainly Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Stay current with Instagram/ Tik Tok/ Facebook/LinkedIn/Twitter, display, mobile, content syndication, and overall digital marketing best practices.
• Engage with users on Facebook, Instagram and other platforms.
• Manage and assist in campaign management and budget planning.
• Measure and generate reports on the results of social media campaigns and promotions.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in graphic and video design
• Social media savvy – MUST love social media and have fun with it!
• Experience in social media marketing including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube
• A post-secondary degree/diploma, preferably in Marketing, Design, PR, or related-field

SOFT SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Team player with a collaborative mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

• Deadline driven with an intimate understanding of the responsibilities, timelines and requirements
• Experience with digital communication technology (websites, social media) an asset
• Strong research, editing and proof-reading skills
• Speaking Mandarin is a plus

Maintenance Technician/Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of company vehicles, machinery, and related facilities.
• Conduct regular vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Carry out preventative maintenance inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment meets safety standards.
• Maintain and repair various company equipment such as forklifts, generators, and other machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records, including parts used and labor hours.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and provide timely repair services to minimize operational downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Assist in ordering and managing inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Work closely with the operations team and management to schedule maintenance activities and minimize operational disruptions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of equipment or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with trucks, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery, or holding a relevant trade license is an asset
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Licensed 310T/421A Technician-Fleet & Equipment Maintenance

This is a full-time, hourly position (not flat rate) suited for experienced technicians who can work independently in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy trucks or heavy equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Work on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
• Use diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and repairs
• Ensure all work meets safety and industry standards

Requirements

✔ Must hold ONE of the following valid Ontario licenses:

• 310T Truck & Coach Technician
• OR 421A Heavy Equipment Technician

✔ Minimum 1+ year of relevant hands-on experience

✔ Ability to work independently

✔ Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

Compensation

• $40 – $55/hr (based on experience and skill level)
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Hourly-based pay (not flat rate)
