The Compliance, Monitoring and Inspections Branch (CMI) provides compliance and enforcement services for natural resource development activities in the territory. Reporting to the Director of CMI, the Manager of Operations is responsible for managing and providing leadership to district operations (monitoring, inspecting and enforcing all applicable legislation associated with public lands, forests, mining and mineral programs and other services) to ensure effective delivery to the communities of Branch programs and Departmental services at the district level.
This position is a key member of the CMI management team and cultivates collaborative relationships with CMI and Yukon First Nations, governments, non-government organizations and industry associations.
