The Opportunity

Are you a hands-on Creative Director with a passion for design and storytelling? Thinkingbox, a leading global advertising agency, is looking for an exceptional creative leader to join our Creative team. You’ll collaborate with talented designers, writers, strategists, and executive creatives to craft world-class digital and experiential campaigns that push the boundaries of creativity and innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing

Creative Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers and writers to deliver exceptional creative work.
• Set the creative vision for projects and ensure alignment with client goals, brand standards, and strategic objectives.
• Work closely with the Executive Creative Director and other Creative Directors to ensure creative cohesion across all projects.

Hands-On Design

• Actively contribute to design work, creating concepts, visuals, and prototypes for digital and experiential campaigns.
• Maintain a high standard of design and execution while staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Provide feedback and guidance to your team to refine and elevate their work.

Collaboration & Strategy

• Partner with the strategy team to develop insights-driven creative solutions that address client challenges.
• Collaborate with production, development, and account teams to ensure seamless project execution from concept to delivery.
• Present ideas and campaigns to clients, effectively communicating the creative vision and strategic rationale behind the work.

Project Oversight

• Oversee the creative process for digital and experiential projects, including websites, apps, AR/VR experiences, installations, activations, and more.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Troubleshoot creative challenges and ensure work exceeds client expectations.
• Experience: 8+ years in a creative role, with at least 3 years leading creative teams in an agency environment.
• Design Skills: Strong background in design with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant tools. Experience in digital design, experiential design, and motion graphics is a plus.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Strategic Thinking: Deep understanding of branding, storytelling, and user-centered design principles.
• Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the latest trends in digital marketing, experiential campaigns, and emerging technologies.

$130,000 – $150,000 a year

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity, candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role. If your compensation expectations fall outside of this range, we still welcome your application.
