We’re looking for a motivated, quality-driven Commercial Cleaner to join our team at the Military Base in Kingston. In this role, you will ensure the over-all cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level. Day shifts are currently available.

Your Work Will Include

• Cleaning and sanitizing of medical facilities, offices, classrooms, washrooms, conference rooms, hallways and fitness areas
• Respond to emergency calls with the use of a communication radio or pager.
• Report occurrences and deficiencies to management
• Dusting, performed at floor level, and all furniture as required
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills
• Cleans and polishes chrome and other polished metal surfaces
• Cleans and disinfects washroom fixtures using mild chemicals
• Damp mops small area hard surface floors
• Attend all required health & safety training and use required PPE where indicated

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Commercial cleaning experience is not required, but is an asset
• In order to work on the military base, a fingerprint security clearance is required
• A clear criminal record check is required for this role
• You must also have 2 pieces of government issued id, one of which has a photo
