About The Position
The Access Services Department in the library is hiring students for Fall 2026. Applications received by August 8th will be given preference. Interviews will be scheduled after August 12. The Access Services Department is assigned to staff one of three desks on the first and second floor of the library. Students may be asked to check out and return items, assist patrons with general library usage, and other duties as assigned. Some undergraduate students (with limited family resources as determined by the results of the FAFSA) qualify for Work Study funds to help offset costs of college. This is a federally-funded opportunity to earn “spending money” through part-time, on-campus employment.
Requirements
- Submit the Student Availability form for scheduling purposes.
- Indicate your anticipated graduation date.
- An incomplete application will not be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Past experience in a library or in a customer service position.
- Availability for the 2028/2029 school year.
Responsibilities
- Staff one of three desks on the first and second floor of the library.
