Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the chance to support students, staff, and visitors through strong communication, customer service, and a caring, reliable, team-oriented approach grounded in integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities across an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, policy violations, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors and campus contacts.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout academic buildings, parking areas, residence hall exteriors, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and campus grounds, verify authorized entry where required, and document observations, incidents, and/or unusual conditions according to post orders.
• Support a respectful learning environment by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with routine security-related concerns while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
