Transition Manager – Process Reimagination – Remote
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Transition Manager to lead and manage the seamless transition from current-state (as-is) processes to reimagined future-state (to-be) processes as part of strategic transformation initiatives. The role ensures business continuity, risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, and readiness during changes involving process redesign, operating model shifts, digital enablement, and AI-driven transformation.
Day to Day job Duties:
Transition Strategy & Planning
– Define and own the transition strategy and approach for process reimagination initiatives.
– Develop comprehensive transition plans covering people, process, technology, data, and governance.
– Align transition milestones with overall transformation goals.
– Identify transition risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
Process & Operating Model Transition
– Manage transition from as-is to to-be processes and operating models.
– Coordinate process handovers, role changes, and knowledge transfer.
– Ensure business continuity and performance stability during transition.
Stakeholder & Change Coordination
– Serve as the primary point of contact for all transition-related activities.
– Work closely with business leaders, process owners, technology, and transformation teams.
– Coordinate with training, enablement, and change management teams.
Readiness, Go-Live & Hypercare
– Define and manage transition readiness and go-live criteria.
– Coordinate cutover plans, go-live execution, and hypercare support.
– Track and resolve transition issues and escalations.
Governance, Risk & Performance
– Establish transition governance, reporting cadence, and controls.
– Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics during and post-transition.
– Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory, and audit requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
– 8+ years of experience in transition management, business transformation, or process reengineering.
– Proven experience managing large-scale transformation or operating model transitions.
– Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes.
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience supporting digital, automation, or AI-enabled transformation programs.
– Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM initiatives.
– Project or Program Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe).
Soft Skills
– Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
– Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and high-pressure situations.
