As a Private Client Tax Manager you will:
Manage and deliver high-level tax advisory services for complex property tax structuring, including de-enveloping advice for UK properties held for trading or investment purposes.
Provide specialised, technical guidance on cross-border global mobility, including strategic pre- and post-arrival UK tax planning for internationally mobile clients.
Advise high-net-worth clients on major ongoing UK legislative changes, specifically navigating the transition from the pre-6 April 2025 remittance basis regime to the new post-5 April 2025 rules (the four-year FIG regime, TRF, long-term residence for IHT, and BPR/APR modifications).
Deliver comprehensive estate and trust planning advice, proactively collaborating with internal Wealth Management specialists to protect and structure client assets.
Drive regular team development by reviewing technical output, coaching junior staff, and leading workflow management under a high degree of autonomy directly reporting to Tax Partners.
As the successful candidate you will:
Hold a professional tax qualification (fully qualified CTA, ACA, or equivalent, or a part-qualified CTA/ACA / fully qualified ATT with exceptional relevant experience).
Demonstrate solid personal tax experience (ideally three to four years minimum) gained within a reputable private client-focused firm or team.
Possess deep technical knowledge of UK Self-Assessment tax returns involving the reporting of complex worldwide income, foreign tax credits, detailed disclosures, and double tax agreements.
Show proven capability in assisting clients through intricate HMRC enquiries, formal settlements, and voluntary disclosures via channels like the Worldwide Disclosure Facility (WDF).
Bring an organised, meticulous approach to complex multi-client workflow planning alongside a passion for producing technical marketing materials and articles.
