Our client is urgently seeking an Accounting / Finance Analyst to join their finance team in Coquitlam, BC. Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month-end forecast and reporting files
• Prepare working papers and schedules for Controller review
• Support finance and compliance-related initiatives
• Assist with internal controls and process documentation
• Collaborate with Controllers and cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting or finance experience
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Pursuing CPA designation is considered an asset
• Experience with journal entries and reconciliations required
• Exposure to US GAAP, SOX/internal controls, or public company reporting is an asset
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently after onboarding and training
• International experience welcomed
• Valid Canadian work authorization required
