nPosition Summary:
nCare Options for Kids is seeking a compassionate, licensed Guidance/School Counselor. This individual will provide counseling services, assessments, and recommendations to children and their families regarding care options, including mental health, education, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the unique challenges children face while utilizing available resources, ensuring that each child receives the appropriate care for their individual needs.

nExperience/Requirements:nn

• Experience as a Guidance/School Counselor.

n

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

n

• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

n

• Ability to work under pressure.

n

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.

n

• Excellent communication – verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.

n

• Responsive to requests.

n

• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto liability insurance.

n

nEducation/License/Certification:nn

n
• Current Colorado provisional or professional Special Services Provider professional license for School Counseling.

n

• Masters Degree in School Counseling or related field.

n

n
