As a Security Officer Communications in Athens, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas and systems, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. In this role, you will help maintain an organized environment while delivering outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $17.61 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor radios, phones, alarms, cameras, and/or dispatch systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and coordinate the appropriate response to incidents and requests for assistance.
• Respond to incidents, equipment alerts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site personnel and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, as directed by post orders and location needs.
• Prepare logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, and relay important updates during shift changes to support ongoing security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
