Job Description
The CMM Inspector will perform precision mechanical quality inspections using coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and traditional metrology tools, ensuring that components meet engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards. This role focuses on operating CMM equipment, interpreting results, applying GD&T principles, and maintaining accurate quality documentation while collaborating closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Work Environment
This is a first shift position based in a clean, well-lit, and organized facility designed to support precision inspection work. You will work in a professional manufacturing and quality environment that emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures. The role involves daily use of CMM equipment, precision measuring tools such as micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, calipers, height gauges, and potentially optical inspection equipment. The facility supports structured quality standards, including aerospace-related requirements, and provides appropriate personal protective equipment and uniforms through a rental service. The environment promotes collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams while maintaining a focused, detail-oriented inspection workspace.
