With an established portfolio and an expanding pipeline of multifamily residential and mixed-use projects, the organization is entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking to strengthen its investment leadership team with the addition of a Vice President, Investments based in Toronto.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced Director-level investment professional who is ready to step into a broader leadership mandate and play a key role in shaping investment strategy, acquisitions, underwriting, and capital deployment across the platform.

Your New Role

As Vice President, Investments, you will play a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and executing real estate investment opportunities across multifamily residential and mixed-use asset classes throughout the GTA. Working closely with executive leadership, you will help drive the firm’s growth strategy while supporting the active development pipeline currently underway.

The role will involve leading financial analysis, underwriting, market research, investment memorandums, and due diligence processes associated with acquisitions, developments, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. You will work cross-functionally with internal development, finance, construction, and asset management teams to evaluate opportunities from both an investment and execution perspective.

In addition to transaction execution, the successful candidate will help mentor and support junior team members, contribute to investment committee discussions, assist with capital partner relationships, and provide strategic insight into market positioning, portfolio growth, and long-term value creation.

This is a highly visible role within the organization and offers the opportunity to influence investment strategy while operating within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

What Sets You Apart

You are an investment professional with a strong foundation in real estate acquisitions, underwriting, development analysis, and transaction execution, ideally gained within a developer, REIT, private investment firm, pension fund, or institutional real estate platform.

You likely bring 10–15+ years of progressive real estate investment experience and currently operate at the Director or Senior Director level, with a desire and readiness to step into a VP-level leadership role.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, along with a commercial and strategic mindset. Exposure to multifamily residential and mixed-use developments within the GTA market will be viewed as highly advantageous.

You are confident operating in entrepreneurial environments, capable of balancing high-level strategy with detailed execution, and bring strong communication and relationship management skills when interacting with partners, consultants, lenders, and internal stakeholders.

Experience across acquisitions, development underwriting, market analysis, financing, and investment committee presentation materials will be important for success in this position.
