Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time / Overnight Shift 

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or property concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access when required, and report unauthorized persons, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence, and following Allied Universal guidelines and client-facing post orders for an unarmed patrol assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
