Position Description
You will serve as an AIRCRAFT EXAMINER (GENERAL) in the MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, AND OVERHAUL (MRO) PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will determine which components meet quality standards and decide which can be left on the aircraft and which must be removed.
- You will consider general condition of the aircraft, total number of hours flown, changes incorprorated, availability of materials, shop loading, and similar factors.
- You will complete paperwork to effect proper routing and sequence of work through shops in accordance with decisions made on depth of overhaul required.
- You will provide list of items which are missing or beyond economical repair so that the replacement will be made available through the supply system.
- You will perform minor trade work to facilitate inspections and evaluations.
