Overview –

We are supporting a Big 5 Bank within Capital Markets on the search for an experienced Project Manager / Business Systems Analyst to join a high‑profile business transformation initiative.

This role sits at the centre of complex, data‑driven programmes and works closely with senior stakeholders across business, technology, data, finance, and external partners.

You will own key programme deliverables, manage the roadmap and execution plan, and support multiple workstreams to ensure milestones are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Alongside project delivery, you will perform hands‑on business and data analysis to support critical decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities –

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of large, complex projects or business initiatives
• Develop and maintain programme roadmaps, plans, timelines, and dependencies
• Track progress, risks, issues, and actions, resolving or escalating where required
• Partner with business and technology teams to coordinate data analysis, mapping, and remediation activities
• Analyse large datasets to identify insights, patterns, and recommendations
• Translate business requirements into clear documentation and support technical delivery teams
• Oversee user testing, deployment, and post‑implementation support
• Support change management activities, including training materials and stakeholder communications
• Produce clear status updates and materials for senior leadership forums
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and operational efficiency

Skills & Experience –

• Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Systems Analyst on complex programmes
• Strong background within financial services, ideally Capital Markets
• Experience working with large datasets, data transformations or regulatory change initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams
• Strong documentation, communication and presentation skills
• Confident managing multiple workstreams in fast‑paced environments
• Advanced Excel and strong general data analysis capability
• Comfortable working with modern data platforms and emerging technologies

Nice to Have –

• Experience supporting enterprise‑wide transformation or data programmes
• Exposure to change management and business process re‑engineering
• Hybrid delivery experience across Agile and Waterfall environments
