Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting surgeons and surgical staff in operating room preparation, procedures, and clean-up
• Ensuring maintenance and proper sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
• Managing surgical supplies before, during, and after procedures
• Supporting patient positioning, prepping, and draping in accordance with facility safety protocols
• Demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration with the surgical and nursing teams
• Contributing to continuous quality improvement and adherence to infection control standards

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Experience as a Surgical Tech, either certified or non-certified, or background as an ORT (Operating Room Technician)
• Knowledge of current aseptic techniques and surgical procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to changing situations
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
• Current BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in an operating room or surgical services setting desired
