The Opportunity
Join Zurich’s Finance division as a Reconciliations Accountant and be part of an integral team focused on the delivery of a range of services.
The Role
In this specialist function, you will be responsible for the delivery of reconciliations services relating to the retail funding bank account, investments, and general ledger accounts, specifically for insurance products. You will support the completion and accuracy of Trial Balance, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and working papers on a monthly basis for assigned accounts.
This role will also involve being a back up preparer of financial administration payments and assisting with resolving payment enquiries that could involve investigation within internal system or engagement with Financial Institutions.
Your Experience
You will be a highly organised individual with the ability to prioritise and manage a large volume of work. You will have a strong financial accounting background with tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; a CA, CPA or equivalent will also be highly regarded. Life Insurance and/or Financial Services experience is advantageous as is experience working with the SAP and Mainframe.
