The Role
Sitting in the Australian and New Zealand General Insurance finance team you will support our Business Partnering team to deliver key financial performance reporting and associated financial insights to senior leaders within the local and APAC regional finance areas.
In this key role you will deliver timely and accurate financial results to key stakeholders as well as be involved in the delivery of the plan and current year forecasting. You will prepare and reconcile monthly premium results to ledger and expectations, and you will support projects driven with the Planning & Performance Management team. As a critical member of the team, you will support the Finance Business Partners to prepare presentations into underlying performance including trend analysis and analysis of variance to plan. Moreover, you will maintain and be the subject matter expert for the financial forecast and planning models (excel and TM1 based).
Your Experience
This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career. You may have a few years of experience and be ready to move into a role where full training and support will be provided. You will hold tertiary qualifications in accounting and/or finance or a related discipline. Insurance experience will be held in high regard however isn’t a mandatory requirement.
