Purpose of the role

We are on the lookout for a Group Head of Talent Acquisition. A progressive leader who can help shape our Talent Acquisition function (incl. Recruiting and EVP), drive change, and display a passion for optimising productivity across our global talent teams. Promoting group alignment across locations and encouraging wider collaboration to help us operate in a truly scalable and international fashion, enabling us to deliver against our vision of making Zühlke a talent magnet and employer of choice.

What you’ll be doing… to start with…

• Lead and develop the Global recruiting and Employer Branding team
• As global process owner, oversee the success of global recruiting activities, working with recruitment leads to ensure the right talent is hired in a timely manner and according to our ambitious growth plans
• Develop and improve our current ways of working. Streamlining and aligning processes across group to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Work with Recruitment Leads to further develop a more globally aligned process – allowing for greater collaboration between countries to further develop our access to the ‘global talent market’
• Drive hiring with Diversity & Inclusion in mind – working with recruitment leads and the rest of the People & Culture team to understand how we can attract a more diverse pool of talent & nurture that talent through our recruitment process.
• Develop and improve our current practices in Recruiting and build, measure, make technology-based improvements to stay up to date with the market trends
• Develop a truly data driven recruitment function – regularly tracking and reporting metrics & KPI’s
• Provide data insights to all locations, enabling us to make intelligent and informed workforce and hiring decisions
• Coach executives and leaders on a Group level throughout the business on Talent Acquisition strategy and best practices; experience driving strategies within a recruiting organization
• Collaborate with staffing and management to constantly review targets in line with business needs and strategy
• Collaborate with staffing and the wider business to establish strong partner ecosystem which gives access to quality talent quickly.
• Work with the wider People and Culture practise to design, develop and maintain an attractive EVP
• Ensure effective and consistent communication of our EVP internally and externally to support talent attraction, retention and engagement.
• Be responsible for the implementation of the new ATS (WorkDay) including onboarding and upkeep
• Conduct negotiations with vendors for Group-wide tools
• Drive the continuous development of the Zühlke group careers site
• Establish collaboration with recruitment agencies on a global level
• Collaborate with the People and Culture practise to redesign a seamless onboarding process for the Talent Acquisition team and wider business.
• Identify ways in which we can drive efficiencies within processes and ways of working, aligning talent acquisition to all other people functions

The skills and experiences you’ll bring

• Experience in a similar role leading a global distributed TA function
• Experience shaping Employee Value Proposition from inception through to delivery
• Experience in using data analytics in talent acquisition strategy
• Passion for ensuring outstanding candidate experience across multiple locations
• Innovative mindset: ability to design, build and pilot initiatives that drive desired outcomes
• Strong track record in inclusion recruiting with success in building strategies to attract and hire diverse talent
• Excellent data analysis skills, with a bias toward data-driven action, results, and operational excellence
• Enthusiasm for directing, mentoring, and otherwise elevating the people around you to do their best work.
• You thrive working with stakeholders from a variety of diverse cultures & backgrounds
• You’re an experienced leader with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style meeting your team members at eye level.
• You have passion for the recruiting and employer branding and are an expert in both fields.
