Zubke Farms Hiring for Farm Equipment Operator at Milbank, SD Full Time

Welcome to Zubke Farms! We are a family-owned and operated farm in Northeast South Dakota. Across 15,000 acres we produce small grains, corn, and soybeans. We are hiring a Farm Equipment Operator employee to join our team in Milbank, SD (about 45 miles northeast of Watertown). In this role you will be maintaining and operating farm and agriculture machinery with a focus on planting, spraying, and harvesting equipment.

What you will be doing:
Operate farm and agriculture equipment such as tractors, planters, harvesters, combines, sprayers, and other farm and heavy equipment.

Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on farm and agriculture equipment.

Assist in all areas of the operation depending on the needs for the season.

Work closely with others on the team and maintain strong communication.

This job is for you if you have:
Prior experience in farming or agriculture operating farm and other heavy equipment.

Basic mechanical knowledge and prior maintenance experience working on farm and other heavy equipment.

Outstanding work ethic with the ability to work well in a team setting.

Strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Ability to work longer hours during peak seasons.
