Zotefoams Hiring for Accounts Payable/Transactional Finance Assistant Job at Croydon, England Full Time

Zotefoams is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join an established Finance team. You will be responsible for providing support to the wider Transactional Finance Team to meet departmental objectives. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable person to work within a growing organisation and in a fast-paced environment.

The key accountabilities of the role will include, but not limited to: *

Daily processing of invoices, using three-way matching process (high volume, circa 1000 invoices per month)

• Timely and accurate transaction processing and query handling (in relation to invoices, credit notes, PO’s, etc…)
• Processing and paying employee expenses
• Dealing with queries from external suppliers and other departments within the company
• To ensure that the company accounting controls and procedures are followed in financial transaction processing
• Assist on preparation of weekly BACS payment run, ensuring creditors are paid on time

• Preparation of foreign currency payments
• Monitoring the AP shared mailbox daily – all emails received need to be resolved accurately, quickly, and professionally
• To maintain an accurate query log

• Supplier account management, including regular statement reconciliations and ensure supplier records are maintained up to date in the system
• Adhering strictly to all month end deadlines
• Supporting any process and system changes that are implemented for the improvement of the AP Process and deliverables

The main requirements of the role will include: *

Strong and robust character, confident in challenging at all levels.

• Previous experience of working in a Finance environment and exposure to month end activities is highly desirable
• Previous experience matching invoices to purchase orders
• Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics AX would also be desirable
• Ability to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under own initiative and collaborate across departments.
• Ability to manage and prioritise tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail.

Experience:

3-5 years accounts payable experience.

• Must be well presented, outgoing and self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel is essential.
• Strong attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
