ZOO Digital currently has a fantastic opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic individual to work with us on an internship over the period of summer 2022. Due to further growth in the business, we are currently seeking summer interns to join our award-winning Research & Development team. Research & Development work closely with the Product Support Team to create cutting edge software solutions for high profile and industry-leading customers. ZOO’s Research & Development department is thriving –this is a fantastic opportunity to join our rapidly expanding Research and Development team, helping to provide creative, innovative and quality driven software at what is a very exciting time for ZOO.

Requirements: *
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a bright and experienced Software Engineering intern who is passionate about technology, prides themselves on their excellent standards, and is keen to work as part of an ever-growing, ever-developing team. Applicants who look to push themselves to the limits of their ability will thrive within this role.
For this role, you will need to be studying for a degree in either Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other relevant subjects. Other degrees may be considered but the role will require programming experience.
You will be experienced in at least one object-oriented programming language, preferably Python. You are a motivated and creative problem solver with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience of backend and frontend web development technologies, database technologies and a good understanding of software engineering processes and methodologies is preferable.
Excellent attention to detail and good interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential.
You will be willing to be flexible and accept new challenges and an ability to express ideas and communicate effectively with a range of people from different roles and locations around the globe.
Experience of your own personal projects will really push your application to the front so please provide any additional experience that you see as relevant.
