We have a position available for a Full-Time Staff Accountant in our growing business. This is a full-time position with VIRTUAL location, excellent benefits, and unique opportunities.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented self-starter who can work independently to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for managing the overall General Ledger transactions/journal entries, assisting the Senior Leadership team in preparation of month-end and year-end close, processing payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, processing/reconciling credit cards, performing financial analyses to support our customers and the business, and providing general office support. We have simplified the ordering and tax process methodology with our customized ERP system, NetSuite, and Avalara tax software.

You will be relied on for on-going support of the team and have opportunities to assist and/or lead special projects. Strong work ethic, attendance, and consistent high-quality work and performance are required for this position.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a willingness to contribute to numerous financial and administrative areas.

Key Responsibilities:

· Month-end closing activities and General Ledger transaction processing

· Manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process, Including vendor payments

· Perform variance analyses and prepare commentary for significant differences

· Process and reconcile Credit Cards

· Perform bank related activities

· Process weekly Field personnel payroll

· Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts

· Prepare state monthly Sales & Use tax filings

· Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information

· Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures

· Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions

· Support the Director of Marketing with special projects as required

Qualifications:

• Collaborative work style and strong work ethic
• Detail oriented and accurate data input and analysis skills

• Good General Accounting experience and knowledge
• Knowledge of ERP, NetSuite, and Avalara tax software (preferred)

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years business experience in General Accounting roles
• Intermediate skill level or above with Microsoft Excel and Word
• QuickBooks experience preferred

Pay: $49,623.00 – $53,444.00 per year
