ZIM Hiring for Logistics Coordinator at Montréal, QC Full Time
Duties and Responsibilities:
Confirm that delivery order is printed using internal system software
Send Land Transportation Order to vendor
Follow up when vendor to avoid delays and extra costs
Follow up with vendors to ensure containers are returned empty in proper time frame
Obtain Proof of Delivery as required
Ensure that all Transportation Orders become Purchase orders and have Goods Receipt status in SAP
Ensure that all invoices received from vendors are recorded with PO number and that the rate and invoice match
Ensure that invoices are processed and given to Finance for payment
Requirements:
College (or equivalent) diploma
Computer Literacy
Previous experience with import/export shipping
experience in the shipping industry preferred
Fluent in French & English
